The Inaugural AutoZone Liberty Bowl BBQ Bowl will be held on December 30-31, 2011 on Tiger Lane at Liberty Bowl Stadium. The AZLB BBQ Bowl is an officially sanctioned Memphis Barbecue Network (MBN) event. Therefore, MBN teams can earn points toward the MBN Team of the Year standings. The event features two contest categories: Ribs and Anything But Ribs. 1st place winners in each contest will be recognized on the field during the AutoZone Liberty Bowl! There will be $3,000 in prize money and MBN teams will be eligible to win bonus money. All three BBQ team packages include entry into the both contests (Ribs & Anything But Ribs), reserved cooking space on Tiger Lane (includes electrical hookups), AutoZone Liberty Bowl game tickets, one (1) Association Membership, parking passes, team name in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl commemorative game program and team name on the AutoZone Liberty Bowl website. To compete in the inaugural AZLB BBQ Bowl and attend the 53rd AutoZone Liberty Bowl game, please return the Contest Entry Form (click to open) along with your payment. Cooking areas on Tiger Lane closest to the stadium are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Therefore, we encourage you to send in your entry form and payment as soon as possible so you can reserve your area in the heart of Tiger Lane.
