INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The AutoZone Liberty Bowl internship program is an excellent way for college students to gain real-world experience in college sports. The internship program provides students with a tremendous opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to a real-world setting while also providing numerous other benefits upon completion: an edge in the job market, smoother transition into a job, the opportunity to decide which career path/area of concentration is right for you, multiple networking opportunities and confidence through experience and achievement.
The AutoZone Liberty Bowl is seeking candidates to fill internship positions for the 2017-18 fall season.

APPLICANT GUIDELINES
Students from any college or university may apply to be part of the internship program. Internship candidates should be an undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate student working toward a degree in an applicable field (Sports Management, Management, Sports Administration, Marketing, Communications, MBA, etc).

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Interns will be assisting the AutoZone Liberty Bowl staff in the following areas: Communications/Public Relations, Digital Media/Marketing, Event Management and Sales & Ticketing.

Interns will help plan and execute events associated with the AutoZone Liberty Bowl including the game itself. Interns will also assist with other AutoZone Liberty Bowl events and initiatives during their term.

The AutoZone Liberty Bowl will create a schedule for each intern that does not conflict with their academic obligations.

The Bowl will work with the intern and their university to make sure that they receive the maximum amount of college credit for their internship.
Qualified applicants should be team first, sports-minded, self-motivators who are willing to accept the significant time and work required to succeed in the sports industry.
Please note that internships with the AutoZone Liberty Bowl are unpaid.

PROGRAM GOALS
1. Provide each intern with the opportunity to learn more about the sports industry and gain real-world experience by working on various key tasks for multiple AutoZone Liberty Bowl events including the AutoZone Liberty Bowl game.
2. Provide each intern the opportunity to prove his or her abilities with independent assignments during the course of the internship.

TO APPLY
Interested candidates can apply by submitting their cover letter, resume and contact information for three references to Patrick Byrne at Patrick.byrne@libertybowl.org If you have any questions about an internship with the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, please call Patrick Byrne at 901-795-7700.
